Moonday, Sarenith 17th, 4719 AR (cont.)
Returning to the Scene of the Crime
A collection of town guards now occupied the area, sealing off and investigating the body, and nearby townsfolk. The party engaged them, admitting to what transpired, with one of the guards dispatched to confirm with Voz the events provided. During which, Jegan was able to swipe the emblemized pauldron off the thug for their own investigation while the remaining party distracted the town guards. Using that symbol, the Regulators had a belt buckle crafted with that symbol on it.
Evening with the Stars
On this cool crisp evening, the dusk has faded away revealing the clear night skies littered by many stars, especially those that form familiar constellations during this season (The Daughter, The Rider, The Patriarch, The Wagon), along with a few orbiting planets in the far reaches of this system. Kellen Carondil has opened the doors to the Great Dreamhouse to the residents of Breachill for an evening of socializing, wine, and gazing at the stars atop the planetarium. The evening isn’t without its events though, amongst the dark skies there’s a commotion atop the planetarium platform as several Harpies attempt to snack several smaller townsfolk or children. During which, he and his staff do all they can to usher everyone below to safety while the Regulators deal with the intrusion.
Harpies Attack
The Regulators quickly engaged the attacking Harpies, as they attempted to secure one of the busty servants, only to be stopped and bound in their attempts by G’roynn. From there, the party focused their efforts on bringing down the Infested Harpy, much larger than the others, along with a few others, causing the remaining Harpies to flee into the night’s sky.
Aftermath
G’roynn inquiries to the health and wellness of the busty server, only to be showered with love and affection for saving her life, taking him to her home. While the remaining Regulators failed to learn more about potential Scarlet Triad infiltrators.
Toilday, Sarenith 18th, 4719 AR
Pillow Talk
In the morning, G’roynn Ironshaft inquired with Seraphina Thatcher about any possible odd characters out of place during the event at The Great Dreamhouse. She noted that there was not just an unfamiliar male halfling, but one that seemed to be skulking around, keeping to himself, not really interacting with the guests of the event. Seraphina Thatcher had nothing more to say on this, but said G’roynn Ironshaft could find her working regular shifts at Cayden’s Keg in the middle of Breachill, before kicking him out of her place.
Renali’s Trip Home
The party determined to bring Renali through the portal, so she could return home, packed and prepared for their travels through the jungle to Akrivel, then back into the reaches to continue their quest to deal with the growing Cinderclaw threat. Following the Regulators in through the Huntergatem Renali was confronted by a Vision of Dahak, breathing fire down upon her and Kane, which triggered them all to engage the ethereal vision of flame. Renali though transformed into her more true form of an Anadi (spider-eqse humanoid Renali (Hybrid)), where she sank her fangs into the vision. Overall, doing enough damage to the vision, it disappeared again, allowing the party to make it through the demiplane without further harm. The party was greeted warmly by the Ekujae Protectors & Guardians, where they then said their goodbyes to Renali, as she made her own way south of the temple, and the party headed north through the Jungle to Akrivel.
Huntergate Keys
The primary reason for stopping by Akrivel was to have Jahsi’s tribe crafters make more keys for the Huntergate, which they agreed to, but are keeping several for their own use as well. Secondarily, it was good to catch up and get a good night’s rest before setting out into the Mwangi Jungle.
